Fly Erbil Airlines (“Fly Erbil”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to providing a secure and user-friendly mobile experience through the Fly Erbil Mobile Application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled when using our App.

Important Notice: Fly Erbil does not directly collect, store, or process any personal user data through the mobile application. All data handling activities, including booking, payments, and data management, are conducted exclusively by authorized third-party technology providers acting on our behalf and in full compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g. GDPR).

When using the Fly Erbil App, you may be required to provide personal data, including but not limited to:

  • Flight preferences and travel itinerary

This data is not collected by Fly Erbil directly, but by third-party platforms supporting the app functionality, such as the booking engine and payment gateways. Fly Erbil is not liable for data storage, processing errors, or breaches that occur within those third-party systems.


2. Purpose of Processing

Your data may be processed (by third-party platforms) for the following:

  • Managing flight bookings and reservations
  • Providing ticketing, payment, and check-in services
  • Sending notifications and updates
  • Enabling optional loyalty programs and special requests
  • Complying with applicable aviation and immigration regulations

3. Booking and Ticketing Terms

All bookings made through the App are governed by Fly Erbil’s General Conditions of Carriage, as well as ticket-specific fare rules visible during the booking process. By booking through the App, you accept the following:

a. Passenger Responsibility

  • You are fully responsible for entering accurate personal details (passport names, dates, destinations, etc.).
  • Fly Erbil is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect entries, such as failed visa applications, denied boarding, or incomplete OK-to-Board (OKTB) approvals.

b. No Liability for Booking Mistakes

  • Fly Erbil is not liable for mistakes made by passengers during the booking process.
  • Any charges related to corrections, cancellations, or changes will be at the passenger’s expense and are subject to fare rules.

c. Right to Cancel or Refuse Service

Fly Erbil reserves the right to cancel any booking or deny boarding in the following cases:

  • If payment was incomplete or underpaid, whether due to system error or customer action.
  • If fraud is suspected, or if unauthorized use of payment methods is detected.
  • If the fare conditions were violated (e.g., misuse of discounts, unauthorized changes).

d. Fare Fluctuations and Disputes

  • All fares are subject to availability and may change dynamically during booking.
  • In case of system error or incorrect fare application, Fly Erbil reserves the right to cancel the booking or request the fare difference to be paid.

4. Online Check-in and Boarding

  • Online check-in, where available, is managed via third-party platforms.
  • Fly Erbil is not liable for check-in failures due to device issues, late arrival, technical limitations, or user mistakes.
  • Check-in deadlines, document requirements, and baggage rules remain the passenger’s responsibility.

5. Loyalty Program Disclaimer

  • The App may display or allow access to a loyalty or frequent flyer program operated by a third-party platform.
  • Fly Erbil is not responsible for:
    • Point accrual or redemption issues
    • Missing miles or incorrect balances
    • Login, registration, or access errors
  • Disputes must be resolved directly with the loyalty program operator.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Fly Erbil App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If such data is submitted in error, we recommend contacting customer support to correct or delete the information.


7. Cookies and Analytics

The App may use cookies and analytics technologies (e.g., Firebase, crash reporting, session logs) managed by third-party services to improve performance and fix bugs.

Users may restrict cookies via device settings, though some features may be affected.


8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located within the European Economic Area (EEA) or other jurisdictions with applicable data protection laws, you may request:

  • Access to your data
  • Correction or deletion
  • Restriction of processing
  • Portability to another provider

Fly Erbil is not responsible for:

  • Booking errors caused by user actions
  • Technical problems caused by your device or OS
  • Refund delays, loyalty program disputes, or payment gateway issues
  • System errors or booking engine malfunctions caused by third-party platforms
  • Delays, cancellations, or failures in ancillary services (insurance, seats, meals, etc.)

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Any changes will be posted in the App and on our official website. Your continued use of the App after changes signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
